VFX Workflows Masterclass – Free entry – Booking required
Open to current students and graduates of the Creative Broadcast and Film Production Programme

Location: Engine Building, Cecil Street, Limerick V94 TN32
Mario Beck worked as the pre-vis artist on Alien Romulus and The First Omen. He also was responsible for the virtual production in the TV show Moonhaven. In this workshop, Mario will explore the workflow from pre-vis to delivery of VFX shots.
This one-day masterclass will use Mario’s previous work as case studies while exploring emerging possibilities in the ever evolving field of VFX. It is aimed to equip participants with an understanding of the workflows required to integrate VFX practice into projects of different scales.

As the Irish Film Festival circuit gains momentum, and the weather is holding, film makers around the country are racing to complete production on their short films. This is where CRAFT and help. With several short films completed and gone on to win awards around he country and abroad, we are eager to work with filmmakers from not just the Mid-West but further afield.
We have the gear, software and most importantly knowledge and experience to deliver your story to the highest standards.
Also we can come to you, as we also have a mobile edit kit.

🎉 Congratulations to Creative Broadcast and Film Production final year students on presenting a fantastic showcase of work recently in Limerick’s Belltable Arts Centre. This event was run by the students with a selection of final year work presented on the big screen.

All final year CBFP student audio visual-work, creative projects and behind-the-scenes shorts will be exhibited in LSAD Clare Street Boardroom from June 1st-8th and all CBFP students are welcome and encouraged to come along. The annual Piquant Creative Media Graduate Award will be announced at the LSAD Graduate showcase opening on June 1st

This is the final episode of the current series of Word On The Street, produced by the crew of Film CEL.

Featuring: a University protest for Palestine and Gaza, The Holi Celebrations and the upcoming Millennium Sessions 2024.

With the support of Screen Ireland, the new 14 week programme aims to develop the next generation of film programmers, supporting 15 early career film curators to develop their skills.

Expressions of Interest are now open!

The programme, running July-September, provides participants with all they need to know to plan and promote their own screening event. It combines online learning through the ‘Curate-It’ app alongside in person meetings with the cohort and programme leaders.

At the end of the programme participants will curate and promote a film season at the Light House cinema in Dublin.

The programme is aimed at beginners or those with intermediate knowledge of film curation. It is open to anyone aged 18 – 24 living in Ireland.
