EUNIC Short Shorts from Europe 2026 returns to the Millennium Theatre, TUS Moylish on Thursday, October 22, 6 pm, with Department of Digital Arts and Media, Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD).

EUNIC Ireland is delighted to return with its European Short Shorts Festival 2026. Thursday, October 22 at TUS Limerick, Millennium Theatre, there will be free screenings of various European short films available to all. The Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD) will also present short films from Ireland on the programme.

Join us for a fun night of European film screenings in Limerick.
Experience the diversity & richness of contemporary European cinema through a selection of short films from 9 countries, & vote for your favorite!

Presented by EUNIC Ireland, the 2026 Short Shorts from Europe Film Festivalfeatures shorts from Cyprus, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Slovenia, all shown in their original languages with English subtitles.

The Irish shorts are presented in collaboration with the Limerick School of Art and Design, and SETU Waterford.

After the screenings, vote for your favorite film live from your smartphone!


Presented by EUNIC Ireland in association with TUS Limerick, SETU Waterford, ATU Galway, University of Galway and Cork International Film Festival.

Limerick School of Art & Design -TUS to host EUNIC Short Shorts Film Festival for Europe 2025 – Thursday 16th October at 6 pm – TUS – Millennium Theatre.

All welcome! Admission free but advance booking required.

EUNIC Short Shorts from Europe 2025
The 2025 edition of the EUNIC Short Shorts from Europe Film Festival focuses on animation cinema and will feature short films from Cyprus, Hungary, Portugal, Poland, Ireland, Croatia, Spain, Italy, France, and Slovenia, screened in their original language with English subtitles. The opening night will be held on Thursday, 16 October, at 6 pm at the Millennium Theatre, TUS Limerick.

All films in English or with English subtitles.

After the screenings, viewers will have the chance to vote for their favourite short film.

EUNIC – EU National Institutes for Culture is the network of European Union National Institutes of Culture, bringing together the cultural institutes and offices of EU member countries in Ireland.

EUNICS Short Shorts 2022 – will be held in the Millenium Theatre on 20th October 2022

Expect Action, Comedy, Animation, Drama and more from Short Shorts from Europe Film Festival, a selection of European short films of ten member countries of EUNIC Ireland. 

Let Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, and Spain entertain you with a variety of genres from contemporary, cutting-edge filmmakers. Cork International Film Festival and TUS Limerick School of Art and Design will also present short films from Ireland on the programme. After the screening the audience will be asked to vote for their favourite film via their smartphone.

This event is brought to you by the EUNIC Ireland network in association with Cork International Film Festival, Light House Cinema Dublin, Pálás Cinema Galway, TUS Limerick School of Art and Design and Richard Harris International Film Festival.
