Film In A Day Example – Killer Recession

Hi All

Well we are at the end of the “Summer” (and I use that term loosely) and Behind the Scenes had another great evening last night at the Millennium Theatre.

A category that is often over looked in the industry of television was explored in detail with a fresh insight to what equipment and trends are at the forefront of this creative discipline.

Adrian ‘Ado’ Cunningham gave a hour long talk on ‘Working with Sound on TV’ along with an opportunity to view his pride and joy, an OBU for sound recording.

Film and Video entusiasts came from across the city and county including Co.Clare to hear about the past experience Ado has had to date and to learn how the key role of a sound recordist has in the television industry.

Behind the Scenes would like to thank Ado for his time and effort in putting together his presentation as well as bringing along the OBU (see pics) for the members to have a look at. Also we would like to thank Gerry Meagher of the Millennium Theatre for looking after us with the venue.

Next months meeting will be on the discipline of Lighting and promises to be another great insight to an important area of film making.

Check out the website for more details. BEHIND THE SCENES
