After nearly a year already since I last worked with Simon, we were filming again this week at the UL Arena in Limerick City.

Simon appeared on TV3’s Ireland AM on 19th july with his trainer Jason Kenny of Forever Fit Promotions, where a series of shots of him training that we shot were played back in studio.

Last years project was all about the Flexifoot ferrel product but this year sees Simon promoting ‘out on a limb’ and just from filming its hard not to be inspired by the guy.

Here is the full Ireland AM (TV3) spot.

This month’s Limerick Insider features National Heritage Week Limerick events, MIlford Hospice Harvest Fair,
the 2011 Thomond Swim and Munster’s largest agricultural show – the Limerick Show.
We also bring you coverage of the One Step at a Time Challenge where below the knee amputee, Simon Baker, successfully walked from Dublin to Limerick on crutches on one leg!
After 5.5 days, Simon and his One Step at a Time team arrived in Limerick City on the 27th of August 2011 after walking a total of 233 km in aid of the ISPCC/CHILDLINE.

Filmed very recently, was the promotional video for Flexyfoot. The Flexyfoot ferrule was invented by product designer David Goodwin. David’s design team has over 25 years experience in creating innovative, stylish and commercially successful products and have won numerous international awards for their design achievements.

In the video Simon Baker and Jason Kenny tell of the products advantages to Simon and all about the upcoming challenge Simon will take of walking from Dublin to Limerick (22nd to 27th August) using the crutches and the Flexyfoot.
