Hi all,
Well its been a while since I posted anything about ‘Scumbag Millioniare’ so i said I would update you.
The shoot is still in progress, (Slowly) and we are gathering props and new locations for the next few scenes to be shot. These will commence very early in the new year.
However to wet your appetite here is a teaser trailer to give you an idea of the style and look of the film.

The Outlaw Concy Ryan - Cast

Production Took place on location in Limerick this week of a short trailer for ‘The Outlaw Concy Ryan’. This will be entered into the RTE Storyland Competition in the coming weeks. Post Production is taking place as I write this and it should be locked and read for delivery in the coming days.
Directed by Ivan McMahon (Two Hungry Fish Productions) and Produced by AppleBox Media, this trailer sees the ‘Limerick Uncovered’ Internet star Concy Ryan, making his reappearance to the TFT screen. Below are some pics of the shoot.

The Premiere Pro and Post Limerick had its first meeting tonight in the Absolute Hotel in Limerick tonight. Good to see such a positive group.
The plans for the group include meetings and online resources that will be available to members who are interested in Post Production for TV and Film.
These meetings will cover Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects for TV & Film, and other Non-Linear Editing Software (e.g. Avid, Final Cut Pro etc).
The group will also offer the opportunity to network and meet fellow professionals and enthusiasts , the group is open to professionals, students, and the general public.
If you were unable to attend tonight you can also subscribe to the group’s Premiere Pro and Post Limerick google group’s page to keep up-to-date, and informed of future meetings and events..

The Meteor Press Ball in the Strand Hotel on Saturday night was an enjoyable evening. Applebox Media had the pleasure of sharing a table with Southern Advertising . The night was in aid of Barnardos, with participants and sponsors giving generously to the chosen charity.

Last week saw Applebox Media film another scene for the short film Scumbag Millionaire starring Francis Ryan. This scene was filmed on location at the Carpark on Lower Gearldgriffin Street, in Limerick. Penned by Francis and yours truly, the story tells of one mans struggle to get to the top of a gang but quickly realises that its getting out is the goal when alot of money comes into play.
In this scene Francis is met by his friend Will, played by Sean Flynn, who provides him with transport to get around and to avoid being seen.
This production is due to be complete by January 2011.
This week’s Apple Bites features Author Henry Martin, Adare is named Limerick County’s Tidiest Town.
Limerick’s Community Policing Unit receive an award at the People of the Year Awards, and the Brad Pitt Light Orchestra release their new album.
In this week’s Apple Bites – St Mary’s Parish form an Umbrella Group for Community Awareness, and Limerickman and Atlantic Rower Sean McGown seeks a local buyer for his boat Tess.
