@vteditor: 1 operator – 3 camera rig for the NABBA / WFF Open Classic last weekend. 1 show, 3 angles = editing choice.

Had a gig working with the team for Eastway Fitness filming a highlights video for the NABBA /WFF Open Classic in the South Court Hotel. With competitors from around the country this event will be a popular on the Limerick calendar in the coming years.
Used the opportunity to setup three cameras in order to get 3 angles. ( the editor in me wanted choice)

Well done to Organiser Blue Shinners.

Whistleblowers

What was received as a brilliant insight to the recent scandal with Lance Armstrong, the Whistleblowers event took place in the Lime Tree Theatre at Mary Immaculate College last night (Monday 24th Feb). With Paul Kimmage and David Walsh in attendance along with host, Limerick Leader Editor, Alan English; the audience were treated to an evening of discussion and debate along with video clip montages to bring everything together and in context.

Was delighted to be involved working with Alan on editing these clips and making sure that they added to the overall theme and tone of the evening.

Well done to all involved.

Acclaimed sports journalist David Walsh will soon speak to a full house at Limerick’s new Lime Tree Theatre about his pivotal role in the epic Lance Armstrong saga, joined on stage by fellow doubter Paul Kimmage.

Tickets have flown out the door for the Limerick Leader-promoted event as fast as the peloton moves in the Tour de France, a race Walsh fell in love with in 1982. Just a handful for the 510-seat theatre remained on sale this Wednesday night and they were expected to disappear quickly. All proceeds are going to two good Limerick causes – Cycle 4 Sick Children and the Simon Community

The event in Limerick will be moderated by Alan English and questions will be invited from the audience. When Walsh spoke at a venue in London late last year, “the hands shot up”, which astonished the seasoned journalist.

Walsh is expecting to answer plenty of questions at the Lime Tree – and he’s looking forward to it.

We are delighted to be involved in working on the VT inserts for this event at the Lime Tree and it will be certainly an evening not to be missed.
