The popular RTÉ TV health show ‘Health of the Nation’ presented by Dr Mark Hamiltonand Dr Nina Byrnes is back in Limerick and are looking for people to film!

‘Health of the Nation’ are searching for people who are concerned about their health and would like to attend the clinics in Limerick in January 2011. They are interested in all health concerns and medical complaints.

These might include: heart conditions, obesity, diabetes, eating disorders, child concentration levels, fertility, stress, low energy levels, depression, tiredness, skin complaints, cosmetic damage, allergies, alcohol, autism, alopecia, arthritis, asthma, osteoporosis, hypertension/stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – chronic bronchitis or emphysema, obsessive compulsive disorders, etc.

RTÉ redevelopment ‘necessary’ for digital age

An oral hearing into plans for a major redevelopment of RTE’s Donnybrook campus has heard that the realisation of ‘Project 2025’ is necessary if the national broadcaster is to meet the demands of the digital and high-definition age.

Under the proposal, all of RTÉ’s services would be housed in one purpose-built complex, which would include five new TV studios and a public plaza.

From IFTN Website: “RTÉ Young Peoples Programmes wish to commission both a series of Christmas ‘Shorts’ which will be broadcast throughout the Young peoples’ schedule on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Stephens Day and a series of reports highlighting the build-up to the Young Scientist Competition 2011, for broadcast weekly as part of Two Tube from early November 2010, and on our YPP Young Scientist website online.”
