TSK Shoot

THE SUFFERING KIND directed by Kevin Liddy (Country, Horse) with cinematography by Oscar® nominated Declan Quinn (Rachel Getting Married, The Reluctant Fundementalist, Leaving Las Vegas). The film stars Keith Leonard, Reagan Bongiorno, Vahe Katros, Edward Crawford, Joe James.

Somewhere up the Hudson river, two men, an inner city priest and a sanitation worker, grapple with the ghosts of their past, the longings that haunt them and a chance to set them free. What happens when the treasure you seek is inside you?

The film is in post production with myself at the helm and we are cutting on Avid Media Composer.

LImerick Chamber

“Each year Limerick Chamber, together with event sponsor Limerick Institute of Technology, looks for businesses in the region that have achieved outstanding success in the previous 12 months. The aim of the Limerick Chamber Regional Business Awards is to give businesses a platform to showcase their accomplishments.

The Awards will be presented at the Limerick Chamber President’s Dinner on Friday 15th November in the Limerick Strand Hotel.  This event is a celebration of success and highlights business achievements, innovation and excellence in the region.

The winning businesses will have demonstrated a commitment to success through innovation, investment expansion, strategic acquisition or service performance that has led to a significant increase in business.”

We are delighted to be involved in the filming and post production of the VT Inserts for the awards night again this year. There are some great businesses nominated.

The LIT Film Festival will return for a fifth year in April 2014, except now styled as the Limerick Film Festival.

The three day event has grown in size and reputation over the last number of years and, fittingly ahead of Limerick’s stint as national City of Culture next year, aims to attract hundreds of film makers and visitors from across Ireland to the city for the high profile event.

“We are excited to be bringing the art of film, professional film makers, actors, producers, directors and many more to the city for the three day event,” explained the founder of the festival, Simon McGuire, video lecturer and course coordinator in LIT.

“With the new changes planned and a new focus on expanding the festival in and around the city, the Limerick Film Festival will be giving the film making talent of Limerick a chance to shine and show off their skills to a wider audience,” he added.

The popular short film competition will also return, and Mr McGuire said that entry forms and competition details can be found on the festival’s website.

Planning for the festival is well underway and “high calibre” workshops will be again on offer to interested parties.

Previous speakers at the festival have included Pat Shortt and respected Irish film producer Lelia Doolan.

Full details of the festival will be announced next year, but for more information see http://www.limerickfilmfestival.net.
